About Rise8
Rise8 is a custom software development company built specifically for the U.S. Government and Department of Defense (DoD). The company was founded by Bryon Kroger, a former U.S. Air Force intelligence officer who witnessed firsthand how clunky, outdated military software could lead to catastrophic failures. To fix this, he co-founded 'Kessel Run' (the DoD's first software factory) and later launched Rise8. Their mission is to bring 'Silicon Valley speed' to massive government bureaucracies. They help agencies like the Air Force, Space Force, and the VA (Veterans Affairs) replace legacy systems with modern, cloud-native apps, enabling them to ship secure, mission-critical software in days instead of years.
