Job Description
Wisevu™ (along with sister brands Homevu™ and CharityMarketing.com) is a fully remote team specializing in SEO, digital PR, and web development for clients in Canada, USA, and Europe. We are looking for a Full-Stack WordPress Developer to play a key role in building high-performance, secure, and user-friendly websites. You will work on exciting accounts in major markets like NYC, Toronto, and Spain.
Key Responsibilities
- Full-Stack Development: Write efficient, maintainable, and reusable front-end (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and back-end (PHP, MySQL) code.
- Theme & Plugin Dev: Design, develop, and maintain custom WordPress themes and plugins using best practices.
- Performance: Optimize website performance for speed and ensure adherence to SEO best practices.
- Integration: Implement APIs and integrate third-party solutions.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with designers to convert designs into responsive web pages.
Requirements
- Experience: 3+ years of experience in WordPress development (Front-end & Back-end).
- Technical Stack: In-depth knowledge of PHP, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and SQL.
- WordPress Core: Strong expertise in custom theme and plugin development and WordPress APIs.
- Work Schedule: Must be willing to work 9 AM - 5 PM EST (Monday - Friday).
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Web Development.
- Communication: English at an intermediate level (written and verbal).
