Position Overview

We are seeking a highly detail-oriented, technically strong WordPress Software Developer to manage, optimize, and maintain a large portfolio of over 300 client websites. In this execution-heavy engineering track, you will act as the technical backbone across multiple brands and industries. Moving fluidly between raw custom code and advanced builders, you will develop bespoke plugins, craft lightweight themes, and implement responsive frontend experiences using Elementor, TailwindCSS, and jQuery. This role demands a performance-minded developer who can handle server operations and fine-tune Core Web Vitals to maximize search engine indexability.

Key Responsibilities

• WordPress System Engineering: Architect, develop, and maintain secure, scalable custom WordPress plugins and themes from scratch.
• Responsive Front-End Layouts: Construct visually polished, highly responsive web interfaces utilizing Elementor page builders, semantic HTML, TailwindCSS, raw CSS, and jQuery.
• Performance Optimization & Vitals: Maximize page load speeds to score exceptionally within Google PageSpeed Insights and Pingdom Page Load Speed Analyzer tools.
• SEO & Accessibility Compliance: Guarantee clean engine indexability loops, implementing performance strategies like lazy loading, image compression matrices, and rigid ADA compliance protocols.
• Cloud Server Administration: Conduct remote server configurations, managing web droplets via SSH terminal protocols on DigitalOcean, right-sizing nameservers in Cloudflare DNS, and monitoring sites through **RunCloud.io**.
• Code Review & Collaboration: Participate in structured team code reviews and technical architecture syncs with product managers and digital designers to eliminate downstream performance debt.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 2–5 years of verified professional experience in Front-End Web Development and WordPress engineering inside agency or multi-brand environments.
• Deep programmatic mastery over custom WordPress hooks, theme hierarchies, and plugin loop architectures.
• Advanced execution fluency using Elementor, TailwindCSS, HTML5, and jQuery.
• Practical knowledge of version control paradigms using Git workflows.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication mechanics, optimized to collaborate across distributed international teams.
• Location Context: 100% remote operational infrastructure open exclusively to qualified developers permanently residing in LATAM, Africa, or Eastern Europe.
• Shift Flexibility: Absolute availability to align operational hours with U.S. business time zones to support North American corporate accounts, with a general platform baseline around 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM CET.
