WordPress Engineer (Entry Level)

BrowserStack, the world’s leading software testing platform empowering companies like Google, Amazon, and Microsoft, is looking for a WordPress Engineer. This is an entry-level role designed for someone keen to learn and grow their technical skills under guidance. You will contribute to development tasks, converting designs into functional WordPress layouts for a company with over 2 million daily tests.

Key Responsibilities

• CMS Development: Handle PHP back-end development and apply WordPress fundamentals to build robust web solutions PHP back-end development and WordPress fundamentals.].
• Design to Code: Convert comprehensive layouts and wireframes (e.g., Figma) into functional WordPress Layouts Ability to convert comprehensive layout and wireframes into WordPress Layouts.
• Frontend Engineering: Design and develop responsive web pages using HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript Foundational knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and basic JavaScript., [Must have] Experience designing and developing responsive web pages.].
• API Integration: Interact with RESTful APIs and handle data formats like JSON and XML Knowledge of how to interact with RESTful APIs and formats (JSON, XML).].
• Database Management: Utilize strong relational database fundamentals (e.g., MySQL) Strong relational DB fundementals.
• Debugging: Debug and solve both Frontend (FE) and PHP backend issues Able to debug and solve FE and PHP issues.].

Requirements

• Experience Level: Entry-level; high eagerness to learn new technologies and concepts High eagerness to learn new technologies and concepts.].
• Tech Stack: Must have foundational knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and PHP.

• Location: Must be based in Mumbai.
