FDM.UK (part of CCS Insight, a major telecom research firm) is seeking a skilled WordPress Developer to manage 9 critical client-facing portals. These aren't just marketing blogs; they are the infrastructure where high-value clients log in to download "slidepacks" and intelligence reports. The role demands reliability and ownership. You will be the primary technical owner, ensuring these 9 sites stay up, secure, and fast.

Key Responsibilities

• Portal Management: maintain the functionality and uptime of 9 distinct WordPress portals critical to operations.
• User Experience: Ensure seamless client logins and content downloads (File management/Membership plugins likely involved).
• Custom Dev: Implement best practices in theme and plugin development (No spaghetti code).
• Troubleshooting: Provide rapid resolution for technical issues—you are the first responder.
• Modernization: Support future scaling and potentially headless implementations.

Requirements

• Experience: 7+ years of professional development experience, specifically deep in WordPress CMS.
• Tech Stack: Proficiency in PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and WordPress Security.
• Architecture: Experience with custom themes, plugins, and Headless WordPress implementations.
• Reliability: Proven experience managing high-traffic sites where downtime is not an option.
