We are a forward-thinking company looking to enhance our ecommerce capabilities by hiring a skilled Shopify and WordPress website designer with strong ecommerce expertise. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and expanding our Shopify store. This role involves building online stores from the ground up, adding new product listings, configuring payment gateways and shipping options, and ensuring the overall health and performance of the ecommerce platform. Key Responsibilities: - Build and configure new Shopify and WordPress stores from scratch, including customizing themes and layouts to create a seamless and engaging customer experience. - Integrate payment gateways and set up shipping methods tailored to business needs. - Regularly update the store with new products, detailed descriptions, high-quality images, and promotional content. Maintain accurate inventory levels and product listings. - Optimize store performance by improving speed, usability, and SEO to drive increased traffic and sales. - Develop and implement strategies aimed at enhancing user experience and boosting conversion rates. - Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Shopify platforms, apps, or third-party integrations promptly to minimize downtime and disruptions. Required Qualifications: - Extensive knowledge of Shopify and WordPress platforms, including theme customization, product management, app integration, payment gateway configuration, shipping setup, and ecommerce security best practices. - Proven experience managing ecommerce stores, with a track record of adding and updating products and optimizing overall store performance. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to quickly identify and resolve technical or operational issues. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills to collaborate effectively with internal teams and engage with customers when necessary. Preferred Qualifications and Benefits: - Experience with advanced ecommerce platform features such as Shopify Plus or WordPress Plus is highly desirable. - Previous experience working within a fashion ecommerce environment is an advantage. - This is a full-time contract position for 12 months, offering a competitive monthly salary range of Rs40,000 to Rs70,000. - The role is remote with flexible working hours, promoting a healthy work-life balance. - Candidates with at least one year of relevant experience and a bachelor’s degree will be preferred. - Preference will be given to applicants based in Lahore, although remote candidates are welcome to apply. - Experience in ecommerce, digital marketing agencies, or software development houses will be considered a strong asset. - Opportunity to join a fast-growing ecommerce business with significant potential for career growth and advancement.
