Job Description

SMN SCALE is one of the fastest-growing creative agencies for Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok ads in Germany, working with major e-commerce brands like MORE Nutrition and ESN. We are urgently seeking a Video Editor who is annoyed by poorly edited ads and wants to cut content that actually generates revenue. You will experience maximum creative freedom while producing high-performance ads for the biggest brands in Germany.

Key Responsibilities

  • Short-Form Editing: Create and edit various paid ad formats for Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok based on clear scripts or briefings.
  • Vertical Focus: Work primarily in Premiere Pro, creating 90% of videos in vertical format (9:16).
  • Creative Enhancement: Use simple motion graphics and AI tools to enhance visual storytelling and engagement.
  • Performance Marketing: Edit with a focus on revenue generation—understanding what makes a viewer stop scrolling and click.

Requirements

  • Language: Clear and error-free expression in German (spoken and written) is required to understand scripts and briefings.
  • Experience: Proven experience in video editing, specifically for short social media formats (Reels, TikToks, Shorts).
  • Technical Skills: Deep knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro; familiarity with motion graphics and AI editing tools.
  • Equipment: Must possess your own computer (Windows/Apple) capable of heavy video editing tasks.
  • Mindset: Understanding of E-Commerce and Performance Marketing dynamics.
  • Portfolio: A portfolio showing sample videos that reflect your editing style (CV is secondary).

Benefits

  • 100% Remote: Work from anywhere.
  • Competitive Pay: Monthly salary of €3,000 to €3,600, with performance-based increases possible after the probationary period.
  • Creative Freedom: Opportunity to work with top-tier brands and have creative input on cuts.
