Vice President, Quality Regulatory & R&D

About the Role: At OLIPOP, we are on a mission to positively impact consumer health at scale with our deliciously refreshing functional soda. We are looking for a Vice President, Quality, Regulatory & R&D to build and lead an integrated technical organization that protects consumers, ensures compliant product quality, and accelerates innovation from concept through commercialization.

What You'll Do

• Take end-to-end ownership of quality management systems, food safety protocols, and manufacturing quality standards.
• Drive complete accountability for regulatory strategy, compliance frameworks, ingredient/labeling governance, and claim substantiation.
• Provide strategic direction and operational oversight of the innovation pipeline, from technical feasibility and formulation to scale-up.
• Serve as a strategic advisor to the CEO and executive team on product safety, regulatory risk, and long-term technical capability.
• Build, lead, and resource a high-performing technical organization, fostering a strong culture of continuous improvement.

What You Bring

• 12+ years of progressive leadership experience in quality, regulatory, and/or R&D within the food, beverage, or CPG industry.
• Deep expertise in food safety management systems (HACCP, FSMA, SQF/BRC) and FDA/USDA regulatory requirements.
• Proven track record leading new product development from concept through commercialization (internal and co-manufacturing models).
• Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Engineering, or a related technical field (MS, PhD, or MBA preferred).
• Executive presence and business acumen to influence cross-functional partners and build strategic external partnerships.
