Unity Developer (C# & Photon) - Mobile Games

ZiMAD, a US mobile game publisher active since 2009, is looking for a Unity Developer to join their expert team. We are a multinational team across 17 countries with world-class free-to-play projects like Magic Jigsaw Puzzles and Dominoes, partnering with IPs like Disney, Nickelodeon, and Sony Pictures. Your primary focus will be developing mobile casual 2D games with a specific emphasis on client/server architecture.

Key Responsibilities

• Gameplay Implementation: Implement the logic of new gameplay mechanics and incorporate assets from Tech-Art/VFX teams.
• Client/Server Dev: Develop and support client/server interaction, specifically handling Photon Self Hosting Server logic.
• Tooling: Develop tools for technical artists and level designers to streamline the production pipeline.
• Integration: Integrate and update third-party modules and SDKs into the project.
• Optimization: Solve complex problems, optimize performance, and manage resource usage for mobile devices.

Requirements

• Experience: At least 2 years of commercial app development experience with released apps on Android/iOS.
• Core Tech: Proficiency in C#, .NET, and Unity.
• Architecture: Firm understanding of SOLID principles, design patterns, and clean modular code.
• Multiplayer: Experience in developing client/server apps, specifically with Photon.
• Version Control: Strong experience with Git and Git Flow.

Nice to Have

• Experience with MySQL or Redis.
• Experience delivering content through Addressables/Bundles.
• Ability to create reusable solutions that can be implemented across multiple projects.
