Job Description
Fresh Vintage is an iGaming studio building modern, highly visual casino experiences, including Crash games and Card-based games. They are looking for a Contract UI/UX Designer to develop the visual identity and polished player flows for upcoming titles. This role is project-based but offers the possibility of ongoing/retainer collaboration as they scale their portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
- Game UI Design: Design layouts, widgets, menus, and HUDs (Heads-Up Displays) for game states like betting, autoplay, cashouts, and results.
- Visual Direction: Develop visual styles, mood boards, and theme direction for each new game.
- UX Prototyping: Create clickable flows and user-path diagrams to ensure smooth UX.
- Asset Production: Produce final production-ready assets and guidelines for engineering implementation.
- Documentation Translation: Work from structured UX documentation (flowcharts, mechanics) to produce cohesive interfaces.
Requirements
- Industry Experience: Demonstrated UI/UX experience in Casino, iGaming, or Mobile Game design (Slots, Table Games, Gachas).
- Portfolio: Strong portfolio showing HUD design, interaction flows, and polished game interfaces.
- Design Systems: Ability to build component libraries and responsive layouts.
- Psychology: Understanding of player psychology and game-state readability (Clarity is King in betting).
- Work Style: Comfortable working asynchronously and on-demand.
Nice to Have
- Motion/VFX: Experience with After Effects, Lottie, Spine, or Rive.
- Illustration: Ability to create 2D assets.
