Technical Product Manager - Contract - 6 months

About the Role: Ubiminds is assisting a company that is building an exciting new product suite for Public Safety. We are looking for a highly technical Product Manager to join a small, senior team and help define and drive a data-heavy product from day one. You will own the product, backlog, and discovery process, working closely with engineers and stakeholders to shape the solution.

What You'll Do

• Define requirements and understand all technical and data-related moving parts.
• Own the product backlog: write clear tickets, ensure board hygiene, and align priorities with business goals.
• Deeply understand and discuss data pipelines, ETL processes, and data consumer use cases.
• Write and review SQL queries to validate data, support analysis, and ensure report accuracy.
• Ensure good RESTful API practices and act as a power user of data platforms and BI/reporting tools.

What You Bring

• Proven experience as a Technical Product Manager or Product Manager in technical/data-driven environments.
• Solid understanding of data platforms, analytics, and reporting systems (e.g., Snowflake).
• Ability to write and validate SQL queries, with familiarity in ETL concepts and data pipelines.
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and system integrations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
