About Cortica: Cortica is a rapidly growing healthcare company pioneering advanced, comprehensive treatment methods for children with neurodevelopmental differences. Guided by our mission to design and deliver life-changing care—one child, one family, one community at a time—we celebrate diversity and foster an inclusive, tech-enabled clinical workspace where every team member is instrumental in cultivating the full potential of families living with complex brain disorders.

Role Summary

We are seeking a Talent Acquisition Associate to join our growing recruitment division. In this role, you will do hands-on, full-lifecycle recruiting inside a fluid, high-growth, and entrepreneurial setting. You will own the talent pipelines end-to-end—developing advanced sourcing approaches to target scarce healthcare professionals, managing candidate evaluations, and advising hiring managers using market data insights to build out high-performing clinical care squads.

Key Responsibilities

  • Full-Lifecycle Recruitment: Guide, streamline, and manage the candidate journey from initial sourcing, structural touchpoints, and screening loops through to closing.
  • Aggressive Talent Sourcing: Leverage advanced tech platforms and creative network approaches to identify, engage, and convert high-quality passive talent into curious applicants.
  • Hiring Team Calibration: Build strong trust-based relationships with cross-functional hiring managers, advising them on interview best practices, candidate routing, and local talent pool insights.
  • Stakeholder Communications: Maintain effective, proactive, and timely communication lines, keeping regional leaders completely informed about the operational health of open pipelines.
  • Brand Ambassadorship: Live the company values, actively promoting Cortica’s unique clinical employer brand across medical professional communities and digital recruiting channels.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 1+ years of professional recruiting experience, specifically operating within a **high-volume healthcare environment**.
  • Proven record of hands-on delivery executing full-lifecycle recruitment targets in rapid growth settings.
  • Demonstrated ability to aggressively and creatively source passive profiles for scarce or highly niche technical/medical slots.
  • Process-driven mindset with a native affinity for tech-based solutions, Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), and automated workflows.
  • Outstanding interpersonal mechanics with high emotional intelligence and absolute thoughtfulness when managing confidential candidate profiles.
  • Action-oriented execution style with comfort adapting to shifting priorities within a fluid organizational design.
  • Location Context: Remote-friendly flexibility, ideally open to candidates within proximity to or willing to support regional footprints out of San Diego, CA.

Benefits & Compensation

  • Base Salary: $70,304 USD per year (Final compensation structured according to location and relevant experience metrics).
  • Eligible for performance-based recruitment bonus metrics.
  • Company-subsidized medical and dental insurance plans.
  • 401(k) retirement savings program equipped with company matching and rapid vesting configurations.
  • Generous Personal Time Off (PTO) allowances that scale up dynamically based on tenure + paid holidays.
  • Company-paid life insurance and short-term/long-term disability coverage options.
  • Tuition reimbursement allowances for continuing education and professional development tracks.
  • Access to employee internal referral bonus awards.
