Job Description
Google is looking for a Supply Chain Manager (also functioning as a Program Manager) to build the physical backbone of their global Data Center fleet. You will lead end-to-end (E2E) supply chain readiness for critical Data Center Equipment, including construction and building modules. You will act as the primary bridge between Google and its global suppliers, ensuring that the materials needed to build out Google's hyperscale cloud infrastructure arrive on time, on budget, and at high quality.
Key Responsibilities
- End-to-End Readiness: Drive material and supply chain readiness to achieve a "clear-to-build" status for data center equipment.
- Supplier Management: Serve as the primary liaison with suppliers to manage production schedules, purchase orders (POs), and strategic material commitments.
- Process Optimization: Create and institutionalize new frameworks for inventory and production management to reduce lead times and increase global capacity.
- Risk Mitigation: Identify supply chain risks, develop mitigation plans (like inventory buffers and risk buys), and map the global supply chain to ensure continuity.
Requirements
- Citizenship: Must hold Mexican citizenship and submit your resume in English.
- Experience: 2+ years in supply chain management, procurement, or operations within a tech or manufacturing environment.
- Material Readiness: Hands-on experience with BOMs (Bill of Materials), production schedules, and supplier performance management across the entire product lifecycle.
- Soft Skills: Ability to navigate highly ambiguous environments and communicate effectively across technical, non-technical, and executive teams.
Nice to Have
- Industry Knowledge: Experience in Data Centers, Construction, Hyperscale Cloud Infrastructure, or capital equipment supply chains.
- Project Management: Strong knowledge of PM methodologies and experience delivering large projects.
