An Overview of the Role
As a Strategic Account Executive, you will drive GitLab’s expansion across Brazil by cultivating trusted relationships with senior leadership at large enterprise organizations. You will apply a highly consultative sales approach to connect critical business constraints with our AI-powered DevSecOps capabilities, helping clients optimize developer velocity and mitigate security and compliance risks.
Key Responsibilities
- Enterprise Account Leadership: Lead complex strategic activity for large-scale prospects and clients across Brazil throughout pre-sales and post-sales engagement lifecycles.
- Pipeline Generation: Prospect, identify, and qualify high-value opportunities within tier-1 enterprise domains in partnership with strategic channel networks.
- Strategic Account Planning: Construct detailed account blueprints and commercial proposals focused on digital transformation and engineering scalability.
- Cross-Functional Coordination: Partner with internal Pre-sales, Customer Success, Product Management, and Support units to drive seamless platform adoption.
- Voice of the Customer: Actively feed back client insights and product feature requests into GitLab’s public issue tracking ecosystem.
- Forecasting & Reporting: Maintain rigid pipeline tracking metrics, build forecast reports, and analyze won/lost data vectors to refine market playbooks.
What You'll Bring
- Proven track record navigating complex enterprise sales cycles with multiple senior executives and procurement stakeholders.
- Strong background in consultative sales methodologies with a high degree of pipeline ownership and follow-through.
- Bilingual Fluency: Absolute professional proficiency in both English and Portuguese (written and verbal) for internal and external client management.
- Familiarity with standard software engineering tooling ecosystems (Git, DevSecOps, Application Lifecycle Management, or Application Security architectures).
- Comfort working autonomously within a distributed, metrics-driven, asynchronous environment.
