Standart: Partnerships Director

Standart is seeking a Partnerships Director to lead and expand its brand partnerships initiatives. This senior, autonomous role involves managing partnerships from initial contact through to renewal, focusing on building and nurturing relationships with brands in the coffee and lifestyle sectors. The Director will be responsible for identifying and securing suitable partners, shaping collaboration formats, and ensuring these partnerships are beneficial for both the partners and Standart's engaged global readership. Success in this role involves cultivating long-term collaborations that provide sustainable revenue for the magazine, rather than focusing on one-off campaigns. Key responsibilities include sourcing and closing deals, acting as the primary point of contact for partners, overseeing project delivery across print, digital, social, and events, and gathering insights to improve future collaborations. The role also requires representing Standart at industry events. The ideal candidate will have a passion for Standart, experience in partnerships, advertising, sales, account management, or business development (preferably in specialty coffee, publishing, or lifestyle), and be comfortable with negotiation and outcome accountability. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential. Initial priorities will include managing over 50 existing partner relationships, refining the media kit, securing new long-term partners (including those outside the coffee industry), and improving reporting on partnership impact.
