Position Overview
We are seeking a senior-level Staff Technical Program Manager (Individual Contributor) to drive execution across our most complex, ambiguous, and high-impact cross-functional initiatives. Operating with a builder's mindset, you will act as a structural force multiplier across engineering, product design, compliance, and operations teams to elevate delivery velocity. This high-autonomy role demands deep technical fluency, macro system-level architectural thinking, and a mastery of agile frameworks to guide complex dependencies and inspire organization-wide alignment without relying on formal authority.
Key Responsibilities
- Cross-Functional Program Governance: Lead and execute high-impact technical programs from early inception through global launch across distributed engineering, compliance, and business units.
- Change Management & Enablement: Drive strategic alignment and empower product teams to adopt modernized workflows, toolsets, and communication protocols.
- System-Level Architectural Alignment: Analyze cross-team core technical dependencies, evaluate backend framework compromises, and confidently challenge engineering assumptions to scope optimized software solutions.
- Agile Workflow Optimization: Administer, configure, and scale enterprise Jira configurations and Agile tooling architectures to support rapid program expansion.
- Risk Metrics Control: Proactively identify system friction points, mitigate engineering blockers, chart multi-quarter project roadmaps, and communicate risk analytics to senior stakeholders.
- TPM Standard Stewardship: Mentor teams on Lean and Scrum methodologies, contributing to the long-term evolution of Technical Program Management best practices across the company.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 10+ years of verified professional experience managing complex technical software programs, ideally within high-growth fintech or highly regulated compliance environments.
- Proven tracking history delivering sophisticated cross-functional initiatives on time with clear, measurable business metrics.
- Hands-on technical proficiency administering, configuring, and structuring **Jira** dashboards for tracking developer velocity.
- Fluency in deep technical architecture conversations with the capacity to interface cleanly between product managers and principal core systems developers.
- Deep master-level command over Agile, Scrum, and Lean development methodologies with a background in technical team coaching.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management mechanics, specifically tailored for interfacing with executive product and engineering leadership.
- Location Context: 100% remote working infrastructure flexibility open to qualified technical leaders based within the United States (Headquartered in Silicon Valley with local hubs in Dallas, TX and Holmdel, NJ).
Preferred Strategic Indicators (Nice to Have)
- Direct domain background navigating payment rails, merchant acquiring infrastructure, or regulated banking technology.
- Experience supporting the delivery and go-to-market rollout of consumer-facing AI features or optimizing internal AI automation workflows.
- General understanding of modern machine learning concepts, data processing effects, and responsible AI evaluation rules.
What We Offer
- Base Pay Range: $190,000 – $225,000 USD per annum (Final salary allocation is calibrated meticulously based on experience, qualifications, and localized coordinates).
- Competitive total compensation package including lucrative startup stock options (standard vesting framework with a 1-year cliff).
- 100% premium medical, dental, and vision insurance coverage options for all full-time employees.
- Paid parental bonding leave provisions alongside flexible time off allowances (~3 to 4 weeks annually plus 13 scheduled company holidays).
- $50 monthly communication expense stipend plus a dedicated $250 remote home-office setup allowance.
- Full hardware peripheral equipment reimbursements (up to $400 for monitors, and up to $200 for keyboard/mouse kits).
