Staff Software Engineer, Demand Intelligence

Pinterest, the visual discovery engine used by millions to plan their lives, is seeking a Staff Software Engineer for the Demand Intelligence and Sales Productivity team. This team thrives at the intersection of analytics and go-to-market strategy. You will design cutting-edge solutions, specifically Agentic AI systems, to empower sales teams with real-time market intelligence and help them exceed targets.

Key Responsibilities

• AI Systems: Design and implement agentic AI systems to empower sales teams and optimize workflows.
• System Architecture: Develop and maintain highly available services and efficient data pipelines (Batch & Streaming).
• Tooling: Build tools that enhance efficiency and generate demand through adoption and usage.
• Leadership: Mentor and guide engineers, coaching them while fostering effective cross-functional alignment.
• Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional partners to deliver impactful, user-centered solutions.

Requirements

• Experience: 8+ years of relevant industry experience leading the design of large-scale & production systems.
• AdTech Domain: Extensive, hands-on expertise working with AdTech and a deep understanding of demand systems.
• Tech Stack: Advanced knowledge of at least one state-of-the-art programming language (Java, C++, Python).
• Distributed Systems: Deep knowledge of building distributed systems, including batch and streaming systems.
• Product Sense: Strong product intuition for digital and mobile app advertising.
• Education: BS (or higher) in Computer Science or a related field.
