Job Description

The Revenue Accounting team is looking for a Staff Revenue Accountant to join our growing team. You’ll have the unique opportunity to build processes, collaborate cross functionally, and play a key role in the team’s ability to scale. The Staff Revenue Accountant will own various revenue accounting close tasks and gain exposure to ad hoc initiatives and projects. This position reports to the Revenue Accounting Manager and will work cross-functionally as a valuable member contributing to the Company’s continued growth and success.

What You’ll Do:

  • Prepare journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and monthly close deliverables
  • Prepare monthly flux analysis for management review
  • Prepare audit support for external and internal audits
  • Own accounting and process documentation for areas of responsibility
  • Assist in developing and maintaining SOX compliant accounting policies and procedures in areas of responsibility
  • Establish effective relationships and work cross-functionally across the organization
  • Drive process improvements and efficiencies for areas of responsibility
  • Assist in any revenue accounting-related system implementations
  • Participate in special projects, analysis, and reporting as required by management

What We’re Looking For:

  • 1+ years of revenue accounting or audit experience required
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
  • CPA (or on track to be certified) required
  • Basic knowledge of GAAP, including ASC 606, and SOX required
  • Possess excellent attention to detail, organizational, problem solving, and prioritization skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across teams
  • Able to work under time pressure, prioritize a high workload, and meet strict deadlines
  • Team player with a positive attitude and open mindset, not afraid to roll up your sleeves and work in a dynamic environment
  • Proficiency in Excel, MS Office, and Google Workspace (e.g. Google Sheets and Slides) required
  • Experience working with NetSuite and Salesforce a plus
