This role is on the Strategic Finance team, which supports company-wide decision-making by delivering financial analysis, operational finance support (planning and budgeting), and insights for corporate development and investor relations. The team partners across nearly every function at Life360 to provide data-driven guidance that enables growth and efficiency.

About the Job

We are seeking a Senior Analyst, Strategic Finance to provide financial and strategic support to our rapidly growing Advertising business. While this role will be working primarily with the Advertising group, it will have significant cross-collaboration across subscription, marketing, and other key business areas.

You will be responsible for building financial models, driving forecasting and budgeting processes, supporting the Ads team, and analyzing performance drivers for the business to deliver actionable insights. This position is well-suited for someone who loves to learn, is comfortable in ambiguity and thrives in a dynamic environment, and is eager to take initiative and make an impact on a high growth business.

You will play a leading role in helping drive strategic decisions for the Ads business by translating holistic team strategy, resource allocation, and deal pipeline into financial impact. In addition to the strategic responsibilities, you will be involved in the operational tasks surrounding forecasting and planning, staying close to the day-to-day business operations to ensure that the team is meeting annual targets and KPIs. This role will have a unique opportunity to work closely with senior leadership on both the Ads team and cross-functionally throughout the business to guide better decision-making across the organization.

What You’ll Do

  • Provide financial and analytical support to the Advertising business, and maintain financial models to forecast revenue, costs, and contribution profit
  • Conduct monthly and quarterly variance analysis, identifying key performance drivers
  • Track, analyze, and report functional costs and their impact on the company’s overall performance
  • Work closely with the Ads Commercial team to analyze deal opportunities and their financial impacts, including tradeoffs of internal resources and inventory allocation
  • Collaborate across Ad Sales, Legal, and Accounting teams to draft deal proposals and contracts, including working directly with B2B clients to understand the detailed requirements, sizing, and pricing of commercial deals
  • Take full ownership and accountability of assigned workstreams, ensuring deliverables are accurate, timely, and actionable
  • Develop strong working relationships with current and future business partners across the growing Ads group, and be willing to challenge assumptions and feasibility
  • Stay close to both the day-to-day operations and long-term outlook of the Ads business to proactively raise concerns or potential roadblocks to achieving business targets
  • Improve pacing, reporting, and operational processes in a rapidly changing business and identify opportunities for automation and scalability
  • Maintain an exceptional level of attention to detail in financial modeling, reporting, and analysis, producing work that consistently withstands rigorous scrutiny

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
  • 4+ years of finance experience, with a strong preference for either investment banking backgrounds or Ads / Ad Tech finance experience. Exceptional candidates with other corporate or strategic finance experience, particularly in high-growth tech environments, are also encouraged to apply
  • Strong financial modeling and analytical problem solving skills, with the ability to synthesize data into clear insights and communicate them effectively to leaders
  • Advanced Excel and Google Suite (Sheets, Docs, Slides) required
  • Experience with financial planning systems (Causal, Adaptive, Anaplan etc), Tableau
