Sr. Security Architect (AI & Emerging Tech)

Coupa is seeking a highly skilled Sr. Security Architect to design and implement robust security solutions targeting AI and emerging technology areas. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of security principles regarding AI-specific threats (such as prompt injection and data poisoning) and will translate complex business requirements into secure architectural designs for our 10M+ buyer/supplier network.

Key Responsibilities

• AI/ML Security: Design secure architectural solutions with a primary focus on AI/ML pipelines and Large Language Model (LLM) deployments.
• Threat Modeling: Conduct adversarial threat modeling and security assessments of existing and proposed systems.
• Compliance & GRC: Support security assessments, including ISO 27001 and the new ISO 42001 (AI Management System) standards.
• Policy Development: Develop standards for the ethical and secure use of AI, ensuring alignment with regulations like GDPR.
• Mentorship: Mentor junior security professionals on AI safety and security engineering.

Requirements

• Experience: Minimum of 10 years in information security, with at least 5 years specifically in a Security Architecture role.
• AI Frameworks: Strong understanding of NIST AI RMF and OWASP Top 10 for LLMs.
• Cloud Security: Proficiency in designing secure architectures for AWS, Azure, or GCP hosting AI workloads.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or InfoSec (Master’s degree preferred).

Preferred Certifications

• CISSP or CISSP-ISSAP.
• Generative AI for Cybersecurity Professionals or CERT Applied Data Science.
