As Sr. Data Scientist I, you’ll have the ability to blend hands-on data science with mission-focused delivery, translating user needs and product requirements into scalable AI/ML solutions that drive operational impact. The individual develops and refines models, builds robust data pipelines, and supports testing and deployment while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams. They also act as a technical mentor and trusted partner to stakeholders, ensuring solutions are practical, aligned to mission objectives, and continuously improved.

What You’ll Do
- Work daily with cross-functional teammates to translate user requirements, wireframes, and feature specifications into data science solutions that support mission needs.
- Develop, test, and refine analytic models and workflows, contribute to automated and end-to-end testing, and help estimate the level of effort for new enhancements or requirements.
- Serve as a technical mentor to other team members and engage with mission partners as needed to ensure solutions are practical, effective, and aligned to operational objectives.
What You’ll Need to Succeed
- An active Secret security clearance.
- BA/BS in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.
- 4+ years of experience in developing and deploying AI/ML models in production.
- Proficiency with applying quantitative methods to structured & unstructured data for data analysis, pattern recognition, insights generation, metrics development, and scaling analytical tools.
- Strong programming skills in large scale data manipulation & processing including SQL, Advanced Python, and experience with libraries like scikit-learn, Pandas, and NumPy.
- Knowledge of Deep Learning frameworks (NLP, Computer Vision), and experience with GenAI/LLMs, and familiarity with frameworks like PyTorch or TensorFlow.
- Willing/Able to travel to customer site, as needed.

- Compensation Structure: $138,000 - $184,000 determined based on qualifications, skills, and relevant experience. Eligible for performance-based bonuses, company-paid training/certifications, and referral bonuses.
