Software Development Engineer II, Logistics API

We are looking for a skilled Backend Engineer to design, develop, and operate critical routing services, including Directions and Logistics APIs. In this role, you will help optimize logistics for major delivery companies, building systems capable of handling millions of daily requests with low latency and high reliability. Key Responsibilities API Development: Design and build high-performance APIs using Rust or TypeScript (Node.js). System Design: Architect routing services that are scalable, reliable, and efficient. Operations: Manage the deployment and operation of services within a distributed environment. Optimization: Ensure services meet the demands of major logistics partners by optimizing for speed and scale. Technical Requirements Experience: 3+ years of experience in engineering production-grade web services. Core Languages: Proficiency in Rust or TypeScript (Node.js) is required. Infrastructure & DevOps: Strong hands-on experience with AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes. Distributed Systems: Deep understanding of building highly available API services and managing distributed systems challenges.
