Software Development Engineer I - Front End (React & TypeScript)

We are a virtual-first company seeking a Front End Engineer to build user-facing features that scale across high-growth businesses.

Key Responsibilities

• Feature Development: Build and maintain user-facing features using React, TypeScript, and modern CSS with a focus on usability and performance.
• Component Architecture: Work on well-defined frontend modules and components, ensuring high code quality with guidance from senior engineers.
• API Integration: Integrate frontend components with backend APIs, ensuring correct data flow and error handling.
• Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with designers, product managers, and backend engineers to implement product requirements.
• Quality Assurance: Participate in code reviews, debug issues, and follow best practices for testing and documentation.

Requirements

• Experience: 2+ years of professional experience building web applications.
• Tech Stack: Solid hands-on experience with JavaScript/TypeScript, React, HTML, and CSS.
• Core Concepts: Understanding of DOM rendering, browser behavior, and performance optimization techniques.
• Tooling: Familiarity with testing tools, debugging workflows, and version control (Git).
• Communication: Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Nice to Have

• Experience developing highly interactive, performance-sensitive interfaces (e.g., Canvas or SVG-based tools).
