Sleep Therapy Coordinator

About the Role: At Sleep Doctor, we're helping millions get a full night's rest. The Sleep Therapy Coordinator owns the operational workflow from order intake through payer-required adherence monitoring. This role ensures every CPAP order is complete, billable, and compliant before shipment—and that every patient remains on track to meet insurance adherence requirements after setup.

What You'll Do

• Manage intake inside DME software (NikoHealth), validating prescriptions, sleep studies, and insurance coverage.
• Monitor CPAP compliance for patients in their initial adherence window (including Medicare 90-day requirements).
• Proactively track patient usage data and execute targeted outbound outreach to prevent insurance coverage failure.
• Troubleshoot common therapy barriers (e.g., mask discomfort) and provide clinical education.
• Track patient resupply eligibility and identify claim documentation deficiencies to support the billing team.

What You Bring

• 3+ years of experience in DME, CPAP, sleep medicine, intake, insurance verification, or medical billing.
• Working knowledge of Medicare 90-day CPAP compliance requirements and commercial payer coverage policies.
• Comfort communicating directly with physician offices, referral sources, and conducting proactive outbound calls to patients.
• Strong documentation discipline, attention to detail, and ability to work independently in a metrics-driven environment.
