About the Role: As a Service Engineer for the Limburg region, you are responsible for performing complex diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on chillers and advanced HVAC systems at customer locations. You are an experienced technician who works independently and acts as the technical point of contact in the field. This position requires in-depth technical knowledge and experience with chiller technologies, working in various commercial and industrial environments in Belgium.

What You'll Do

  • Diagnosis and repair of faults in chillers (central cooling systems) and HVAC systems.
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance according to Carrier standards.
  • Repairing or replacing technical parts such as compressors, evaporators, capacitors, and electronic controllers.
  • Optimize system performance through inspections, measurements, and adjustments.
  • Report technical findings and provide advice on optimization.
  • Assisting or coaching less experienced technicians with technical interventions.
  • Participate in on-call duty (approximately once every 7-8 weeks).

What You Bring

  • At least 5 years of experience in HVAC, with demonstrable expertise in chillers (repair, maintenance, diagnostics).
  • MBO diploma in refrigeration technology, electrical engineering, or mechanical engineering.
  • Valid F-gas certificate required; low voltage certificate (such as BA4/BA5) is a plus.
  • In-depth knowledge of chiller and refrigeration technology, electrical systems, and control engineering.
  • Bilingual: Dutch and French (both required or fluent in one with a good foundation in the other).
  • Customer-oriented attitude and ability to work independently with a valid Driving license B.
