SEO Manager

About the Role

CACTUS is a remote-first organization and we embrace an accelerate from anywhere culture. You may be required to travel to our Mumbai office based on business requirements or for company/team events.

We are looking for a results-driven SEO Manager to lead and scale our organic search performance across global markets. This role goes beyond traditional SEO—covering international SEO, technical SEO, AI search (GEO/LLM optimization), and multi‑engine optimization. You will work cross‑functionally with content, product, and development teams to drive sustainable organic growth and brand visibility.

Responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end SEO across global markets, including multi‑language and multi‑search‑engine optimization (Google, Bing, Naver; Japan & Korea preferred)
• Drive keyword research, content optimization, and asset recommendations aligned to search intent and user experience
• Own technical SEO: audits, crawlability, indexing, site performance, mobile optimization, and structured data
• Manage off‑page SEO including link‑building strategy, agency coordination, and brand/citation monitoring
• Develop and execute Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) to improve visibility across AI search, LLMs, and AI Overviews
• Partner with content teams to create and optimize AI‑readable, long‑form, and high‑authority content
• Define and execute a cohesive organic search strategy aligned with business goals
• Track performance, analyze trends, and deliver actionable insights through regular reporting
• Conduct competitive analysis and monitor algorithm, platform, and industry developments
• Drive optimization across emerging channels including video SEO, business listings, and app store optimization
• Collaborate cross‑functionally and communicate SEO insights effectively to senior stakeholders

Qualifications and Prerequisites

• 5–8+ years of hands‑on SEO experience with proven organic growth results
• Strong expertise in technical, on‑page, and off‑page SEO
• Experience with international SEO and non‑Google search engines, Easter Asia preferred
• Strong analytical skills with experience using SEO and web analytics tools
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
