Job Description

Ling is a global language-learning platform based in Thailand, offering courses in 65+ languages. They are looking for Native Speakers (specifically of Eastern European & Asian languages) to write high-quality English blog content about their native language. This is not just traditional blogging; you will be writing content specifically structured to perform well in Google AI Overviews and LLM-based search results, while remaining helpful to human learners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Content Creation: Write original, well-structured English blog posts about your native language (covering grammar, vocabulary, travel phrases, and cultural context).
  • SEO & AI Optimization: Structure content with clear headings, short paragraphs, and direct answers so it is easy for both humans and AI systems to summarize.
  • Cultural Insight: Add authentic cultural and linguistic insights that only a native speaker would know.
  • Formatting: Use internal linking, images, and proper formatting according to Ling’s guidelines.
  • Reliability: Maintain strict deadlines and communication in a remote freelance setup.

Requirements

  • Native Speaker: You must be a native speaker of the language you are writing about (Strongly Preferred).
  • English Proficiency: Ability to write clear, engaging, and grammatically correct American English.
  • SEO Knowledge: Familiarity with On-page SEO, Featured Snippets, and "People Also Ask" sections.
  • Originality: Commitment to producing 100% original content (Strict AI and plagiarism checks apply).
  • Niche: Strong interest in language learning, linguistics, or education.

How to Apply (Strict Instructions)

To be considered, you must submit ONE sample article (900–1000 words).

  • Choose a Topic:
  • How to say “How are you?” in [Your Language]
  • Common [Your Language] tongue twisters
  • How to say “Good luck” in [Your Language]
  • How to order food in [Your Language]
  • Essential [Your Language] travel phrases
  • Guidelines:
  • Write in American English.
  • Include 1–3 images (from Pixabay/Pexels/Canva).
  • Mention the Ling app organically.
  • Format for scannability (Bullet points, clear H2/H3 headers).
  • Submission: Send your article, native language details, and portfolio to punya@ling-app.com.

Safety First

  • Never pay for a job application.
  • Do not share sensitive bank info.
  • Verify the client before starting work.
