Position Overview

We are seeking a systems-driven, highly technical SEO Automation Engineer to lead the digital transformation of our marketing and organic discovery pipelines through artificial intelligence, automation architecture, and advanced systems engineering. Moving far beyond traditional, manual keyword adjustments, you will take absolute technical ownership of designing scalable programmatic workflows, automated web scraping engines, and data pipeline structures. This role demands an optimization enthusiast who can transform ambiguous operational bottlenecks into structured, repeatable systems that reduce manual tasks and drive execution velocity.

Key Responsibilities

• AI & Automation Workflow Development: Design, implement, and maintain scalable automation architectures to streamline organic search indexing, semantic optimization, and digital marketing execution pipelines.
• Technical Systems Engineering: Construct and refine automated web scraping scripts, headless browser automation systems, and custom API connector engines to accelerate cross-platform data flows.
• Agentic Flow Implementation: Leverage generative AI models, multi-agent orchestrations, and automated scripting logic to continuously eliminate repetitive operational overhead.
• Process Optimization Auditing: Identify underlying operational boundaries across local SEO, PPC, and campaign tracking suites, refactoring unstructured tasks into highly efficient, script-driven modules.
• Collaborative Code Governance: Coordinate technical features and maintain code infrastructure integrity within distributed developer repositories using Git and GitHub workflows.
• High-Agency Operational Ownership: Translate abstract marketing goals into clean, automated execution plans with absolute autonomy, minimizing senior management overhead.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 3–6+ years of verified professional software engineering, technical growth operations, workflow automation, or technical SEO systems execution history inside fast-paced startup or digital agency environments.
• Advanced hands-on fluency engineering automation pipelines, using large language model prompts, and designing agentic systems inside active operational runtimes (such as Claude or Codex platforms).
• Demonstrated technical competency working with REST APIs, structured datasets, headless browser automation frameworks, and basic programming or scripting logic.
• Strong familiarity maintaining version control, branching mechanics, and code distribution protocols utilizing Git and GitHub.
• Profound analytical capacity to unpack opaque, complex business tasks and convert them into robust, self-sustaining algorithmic code blocks.
• Location Context: Remote operational infrastructure flexibility open specifically to qualified professionals residing in Sri Lanka, supporting a split-shift routine with direct client overlap.
• Training Constraint: Availability to attend mandatory, in-person training programs locally during your initial 90-day onboarding window.
