Senior Tech Lead QA

About the Role: Utorg is a product team building a non-custodial crypto wallet, a crypto card, and a growing line of investing products. We are looking for a Senior / Tech Lead QA to set the technical bar for the QA function, mentor junior engineers, and partner with developers to make automated test coverage genuinely effective. This is a hands-on technical leadership role with real influence on how quality is built.

What You'll Do

• Own the quality of mobile app (iOS/Android), backend services, and internal back-office tool releases.
• Test new features with complex crypto and fintech logic, including high-stakes flows like transactions, swaps, asset custody, and KYC.
• Drive QA-developer collaboration on automated testing and review actual coverage.
• Establish and own QA standards and metrics (defect rate, escape rate, CFR/LT) and build reporting for stakeholders.
• Lead production stability efforts by monitoring logs and metrics (Sentry, Firebase, Grafana) and driving incident response.

What You Bring

• 7+ years of QA experience, including at least 3 years testing mobile products.
• Background in fintech or crypto with user-level experience in crypto wallets and blockchain mechanics (seed phrases, derivation paths, common token standards, swaps).
• Excellent manual testing skills across mobile and API (Postman, Charles, etc.).
• Hands-on experience reviewing automated tests and validating coverage.
• Proven mentoring experience and strong English communication skills (Upper-Intermediate or higher).
