Position Overview
We are seeking a high-agency, tech-forward Senior Staff Executive Recruiter to step in as an elite talent acquisition consultant to our C-suite and senior executive committees. In this highly critical track, you will design, pilot, and execute full-cycle executive talent discoveries across all global business divisions—placing VP and C-level professionals. Operating at the intersection of funnel analytics, competitive corporate intelligence, and strategic organizational design, you will craft data-driven candidate identification plans, handle high-stakes multi-tiered equity negotiations, and meaningfully integrate AI systems into our executive screening protocols.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Executive Advisory: Serve as an internal human resources consultant to C-suite and executive leadership, mapping out hiring trajectories that support long-term corporate goals.
- Full-Cycle Search Execution: Lead complex end-to-end global executive searches from macro market mapping and talent profiling up through active contract sealing.
- Advanced Compensation Architecture: Partner directly alongside Total Rewards and Finance squads to engineer sophisticated executive salary offers, wrapping complex equity structures, buy-out protections, and performance bonus milestones into final drafts.
- Intelligence & Data Analysis: Compile real-time competitive market intelligence and talent mapping visualization dashboards to feed pipeline visibility up to organizational leaders.
- AI & Sourcing Innovation: Proactively implement advanced AI platforms and generative technology assistants to optimize executive profile discovery, context synthesis, and leadership summary reports.
- High-Touch Candidate Engagement: Cultivate deep long-term candidate relationships, projecting an elite candidate journey experience that builds immediate trust with top industry professionals.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 10+ years of verified professional experience managing full-cycle talent acquisition pipelines, with a definitive track record placing VP and C-suite leaders within high-growth technology sectors.
- Demonstrated expertise navigating executive compensation packages, complex stock equity parameters, and corporate candidate buy-out scenarios.
- Proven background operating within distributed global hiring models, showing deep familiarity with international employment laws and relocation nuances.
- Deep commitment to utilizing structured funnel analytics and programmatic market tracking indicators to justify hiring decisions to executive committees.
- Outstanding visual, written, and verbal communication mechanics, capable of immediately commanding authority with top-tier executive talent.
- Resilient, high-agency mentality with the creative problem-solving skills necessary to drive results across ambiguous or highly restricted talent pipelines.
- Location Context: 100% remote-first infrastructure open to qualified talent acquisition leaders based within the **United States** or **United Kingdom** (Mapbox US; Mapbox UK).
Preferred Strategic Indicators (Nice to Have)
- Direct previous background mapping leadership infrastructure within high-scale spatial data, navigation technology, cloud platform, or API engineering companies.
- Hands-on experience configuring advanced applicant tracking modules and pipeline databases, specifically utilizing Ashby infrastructures.

- Annual Base Compensation Scale: $167,000 – $220,000 USD (Representing standard base rates across most US geographical zones, expanding 5% to 10% higher for regions with a significantly higher cost of labor index. Final allocation is objectives-calibrated during technical screening evaluations).
