Senior Software Engineer (Frontend)

About the Role: Reach Security integrates with existing security tools to identify blind spots, prioritize fixes, and automatically remediate misconfigurations. We are looking for a Senior Frontend Software Engineer to develop responsive, well-tested, and performant web applications. Your work will directly impact our mission to simplify security challenges through intuitive and accessible technology.

What You'll Do

• Develop web applications using React with hooks, TypeScript, and modern frontend technologies like Vite and Chakra UI.
• Lead the execution of key frontend engineering initiatives, ensuring high UI/UX quality and usability.
• Author technical proposals and documentation to align teams on frontend architecture and design choices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve front-end issues, minimizing downtime and ensuring a seamless user experience.
• Foster a culture of technical excellence, focusing on continuous improvement in frontend development practices.

What You Bring

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering, with a strong focus on frontend development.
• Proficiency in React (with hooks), TypeScript, Vite, Chakra UI, Axios, and Playwright for testing.
• Experience with continuous integration and deployment using GitHub Actions, and hosting applications on AWS.
• Deep understanding of computer science fundamentals, data structures, and computational complexity.
• Proficiency in frontend system design and familiarity with API design best practices for secure data exchange.
• Strong communication skills to explain complex technical issues to non-technical audiences.
