Position Overview

We are seeking a highly analytical, systems-minded Senior Software Engineer to join our core centralized Apps Engineering organization in a full-time remote capacity within India. Operating as an advanced full-stack engineer within our specialized application division, you will claim individual strategic accountability for designing, maintaining, and scaling the customer-facing interfaces, back-end APIs, and underlying big-data infrastructure powering GroundTruth’s global ad platform. Moving completely past legacy manual coding loops or passive maintenance routines, you will serve as a premier technical anchor orchestrating autonomous AI coding agents (such as Cursor and Claude Code) to build solutions rapidly while owning the absolute architecture, quality, and business outcomes of what those agents produce. This position requires an engineering veteran with 6+ years of commercial development background who models complex ETL frameworks fluidly, coordinates multi-tenant microservices smoothly under tight timelines, and masters declarative context files to maximize agent productivity.

Key Responsibilities

• Full-Stack Application Development: Architect, build, and optimize high-throughput, customer-facing full-stack web products natively utilizing Python frameworks including FastAPI and secure RESTful endpoint paths.
• Agentic Software Development Management: Deconstruct complex engineering epics into precise task matrices that AI coding agents can execute, systematically reviewing, testing, and validating all agentic output blocks.
• Agentic Context Curation and Modeling: Maintain clear system documentation, authoring reusable prompts, customized prompt libraries, MCP (Model Context Protocol) configs, and structural `AGENTS.md` context parameters.
• Data Pipeline Extraction and Ingestion: Formulate, track, and optimize robust data ingestion tracks, extracting and transforming geographical data streams natively leveraging Data Scientist big-data architectures.
• AWS Big Data Stack Triage: Manage and configure cloud resources for optimized data processing, maintaining distributed jobs across AWS EC2, S3, EMR clusters, ECS containers, Lambda functions, and Step functions.
• Analytical Query Engineering and Airflow Governance: Write complex analytical queries using relational databases and SQL, coordinating multi-tier workflow orchestration models inside Apache Airflow.
• Continuous Delivery and Pipeline Integration: Code and ship production-ready frontend and backend modifications integrated seamlessly into automated Docker containerization flows and AWS continuous deployment channels.
• Agile Practices Collaboration: Participate actively inside distributed scrum cells, supporting peer code reviews, sprint estimations, and structural process improvements to maximize team alignment.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 6+ years of verified professional history running commercial full-stack software development, data engineering architecture, cloud microservices programming, or technical systems consulting.
• Deep, authoritative software engineering command of back-end application frameworks, REST API design, asynchronous execution flows, and structural database query writing.
• Expert-tier programming proficiency building scalable server layers and configuring modular data components natively utilizing Python development utilities.
• Practical operational familiarity constructing automated ETL pipelines, data warehouses, and workflow monitoring grids natively leveraging Data Scientist tools (explicitly covering Apache Airflow and AWS cloud data services).
• Production-tested experience using AI code models, context sheets, or copilot tools (e.g., Cursor, Claude Code) to write, test, and ship production-grade code bases.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication traits in fluent English, with an absolute capacity to specify precise requirements and functional data layers for both human engineers and AI models.
• Academic Baseline Qualifications: A formal technical university degree (B.Tech, B.E, M.Tech, or MCA) from an accredited institution specializing in Computer Science or a closely related quantitative science discipline.
• Location Context: Position open exclusively to qualified full-stack software engineers based permanently and resident within **India** to execute technical engineering duties under a 100% remote arrangement.

• Prior commercial backend programming history operating within a programmatic adtech agency, global real-time bidding (RTB) network, digital media platform, or geospatial tracking startup.
• Hands-on client-side experience navigating modern frontend ecosystems, showcasing background using Angular, React, TypeScript, and JavaScript.
• Familiarity with distributed map-reduce architectures, showing introductory exposure to Apache Hadoop, MapReduce, Pig, or PySpark frameworks.
• Familiarity with building business intelligence dashboards or reading data models across tools such as Looker or Tableau.
