Job Description

About the Role: LaunchDarkly is seeking a Senior SEO & GEO Marketing Manager to own and drive our organic discoverability strategy across traditional search and AI-powered discovery platforms. You will set the strategy for SEO and GEO (Generative Engine Optimization), manage execution across partners and internal stakeholders, and connect organic performance directly to the inbound pipeline.

What You'll Do

  • Lead the execution and evolution of LaunchDarkly's SEO and GEO strategy across search engines and large language model platforms (ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity).
  • Build and maintain a strategic roadmap for organic growth spanning content strategy, on-page optimization, and AI discovery.
  • Evaluate how LaunchDarkly appears in AI-generated search results and LLM-powered experiences to improve visibility, accuracy, and authority.
  • Use analytics platforms including GA4, Google Search Console, Google Tag Manager, Mixpanel, and Salesforce to assess performance.
  • Provide editorial direction and hands-on writing or editing support to ensure content aligns with SEO and GEO objectives.

What You Bring

  • 8+ years of B2B marketing experience with significant ownership of SEO strategy and execution for a developer product.
  • Experience marketing to developers or technical SaaS audiences.
  • Proven track record building and scaling SEO programs that drive measurable inbound leads and pipeline.
  • Familiarity with GEO, LLMO, or answer engine optimization approaches.
  • Proficiency with analytics and SEO tools including GA4, Google Search Console, Google Tag Manager, and Mixpanel.
