Job Description

Scaling.com is a global movement helping entrepreneurs 10x their business. We are building a world-class bench of Strategists—former entrepreneurs and operators who have built, scaled, and exited businesses themselves.

We are seeking a Senior Recruiter to identify, engage, and close these high-level individuals. This is a high-impact role where you will serve as a brand ambassador and trusted advisor, engaging peer-to-peer with CEOs to help them see Scaling.com as their next meaningful chapter.

Key Responsibilities

  • Executive Sourcing: Proactively source and engage former founders, CEOs, and senior operators through direct outreach.
  • High-Judgment Screening: Evaluate entrepreneurial credibility, leadership maturity, and coaching aptitude—this requires high emotional intelligence.
  • Pipeline Management: Build a robust pipeline of high-caliber candidates across multiple industries.
  • Strategic Advisory: Act as a trusted advisor to candidates, skillfully navigating nuanced motivations and compensation expectations typical of former founders.
  • Metrics: Aim to hire 1-2 high-quality Strategists per week while building a scalable recruiting engine.

Requirements

  • Experience: 8+ years of recruiting experience with a significant focus on senior, executive, or non-traditional talent.
  • Target Audience: Direct experience recruiting former founders, entrepreneurs, or CEOs is REQUIRED.
  • Mandatory Reading: Must have read the book The Science of Scaling.
  • Communication: Exceptional credibility and presence when engaging experienced entrepreneurs; you must be a persuasive storyteller.
  • Attributes: High emotional intelligence, strong pattern recognition for leadership maturity, and the ability to operate with ambiguity.
