Senior QA Engineer

About the Role: Scribe's desktop app and browser extensions are mission-critical surfaces used by millions. As a Senior QA Engineer, you will take ownership of quality across desktop (Mac and Windows) and browser extension (Chrome, Edge) platforms, ensuring we can ship quickly without compromising reliability.

What You'll Do

• Partner closely with engineering, product, and design to define and execute testing strategies.
• Introduce scalable processes and automation where it matters most.
• Validate releases across multiple platforms and release channels.
• Step into a technical leadership role, mentoring others and potentially managing a distributed team of QA engineers.

What You Bring

• Deep QA experience in fast-paced, high-growth environments where speed and quality must coexist.
• Hands-on experience testing desktop applications (Mac/Windows) and/or browser extensions.
• Ability to own QA strategy end-to-end, from test planning to execution and release validation.
• Systematic thinking about quality with the ability to introduce scalable automation.
• Demonstrated leadership, strong technical judgment, and effective collaboration skills.
