Job Description
About the Role: The Senior Product Marketing Manager is the storyteller and market-facing expert for Altitude's transportation analytics products - a commercial vehicle data platform built on Geotab's proprietary telematics network. This role is a contributor to strategy + roadmap, and owner of growth leading to market launch of their products through orchestration of the marketing team. You will serve as the market expert, gathering competitive intelligence and customer insights to inform product roadmap and strategy, acting as a trusted advisor to product management, sales, and marketing teams.
What You'll Do & How You'll Make an Impact
- Tell the Altitude story in a simple, clear, and compelling way, translating transportation analytics data into the language of infrastructure planners, petroleum network developers, and AEC consultants.
- Partner with Product Marketing Management (PMM) leadership to build the holistic product marketing roadmap, define KPAs, and establish go-to-market standards.
- Develop razor-sharp customer insights, empathy, and a central repository for industry trends, personas, competition, and distribution channels.
- Partner with the marketing team to develop an analyst relations strategy, content strategy, and sales enablement tools (white papers, case studies, slide decks, ROI calculators).
- Leverage and develop AI toolsets as part of your daily workflow to accelerate content development, market research synthesis, and competitive monitoring.
- Serve as a mentor for more junior team members of both PMM and the organization as a whole.
What You'll Bring
- 8+ years of work experience ideally in Product Marketing within B2B or B2G SaaS, data analytics, transportation technology, smart cities, or geospatial intelligence (GIS).
- Proven track record with complex data products or platform services sold into enterprise or government buyers.
- Self-starter, resourceful with strong analytical skills and the ability to problem-solve to well-judged decisions.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, analyze market trends, and interpret data to make data-driven decisions.
- Post-Secondary Diploma/Degree specialization in Engineering, Business/Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field is highly valued.
