Job Description

Netflix is seeking a Senior Product Designer to join the Commerce and Member Lifetime Value (LTV) team. This is a high-stakes, high-impact role where you will design critical member touchpoints that drive long-term customer value. You will help drive the strategic evolution of the member journey—from the moment a user considers joining to the years they spend as a loyal subscriber—through monetization, plan innovation, and high-impact experimentation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lifecycle Mastery: Explore and provoke for seamless onboarding flows, identifying key moments for upsells, and deploying personalized offers.
  • Design for Households: Deeply understand how families and individuals use Netflix in the home to maximize value across multiple profiles and devices.
  • Revenue Impact: Translate complex business constraints and technical ambiguity into elegant design solutions that drive measurable revenue.
  • Untangle Complexity: Translate intricate targeting frameworks, ML algorithms, and privacy regulations into simplified, user-centric strategies.
  • Cross-Platform: Partner with Ads, Commerce, and Core Product teams to ensure a unified experience across TV, Mobile, and Web.

Requirements

  • Experience: 7+ years of proven track record designing consumer-facing products at scale (Web, Mobile, TV).
  • Growth Focus: Experience in Growth or Monetization design is a significant plus; you must understand the "why" behind metrics like churn and ARPU.
  • Craft Mastery: Exceptional skill in interaction design, visual design, systems, and prototyping.
  • Experimentation: You enjoy A/B testing and iterating based on data but never sacrifice the emotional experience.
  • Portfolio: A strong portfolio (submitted with password) is highly recommended.
