Key Responsibilities

This role is the guardian of the companyโ€™s largest expense: its people. You will manage a high-volume, dual-stream payroll environment that requires both surgical precision in calculation and a "detective" mindset for financial controls.

  1. In-house Payroll Management
  2. Own the full payroll cycle (pre-closing to payment) for local employees.
  3. Calculate gross-to-net salaries, social charges, and tax liabilities (BPS, IRPF, IRNR).
  4. Validate external payroll data and ensure 100% accuracy before processing.
  5. Prepare journal entries and ensure alignment with Accounting and Treasury.
  6. Remote & International Compensation
  7. Manage end-to-end payroll for remote teams, including reimbursements and fee calculations.
  8. Oversee multi-method payments (bank transfers and digital wallets) for global disbursements.
  9. Perform final payroll audits and communicate status company-wide.
  10. Automate and streamline processes using salary macros and reporting tools.
  11. Financial Control & Reconciliation
  12. Execute rigorous mid-cycle and final payroll audits.
  13. Reconcile payroll accounts, ensuring all payments match ledger and bank records.
  14. Manage off-cycle adjustments and resolve discrepancies promptly.
  15. Payroll Reporting & Forecasting
  16. Prepare monthly payroll projections to support Finance planning.
  17. Present monthly payroll reports, including spend, capitalization, and compliance insights.

Job requirements

  • Mathematical Accuracy: Exceptional ability to handle complex formulas for remote fee structures and local tax brackets.
  • Audit mindset: You don't just "input" data; you "control" it. You must be able to spot anomalies in large datasets before they reach the payment stage.
  • Process Documentation: Ability to manage "Salary Macros" and maintain the logic behind these tools to ensure continuity.
  • English: Upper intermediate
