Position Overview

We are looking for a Senior ML/AI Engineer to join our dedicated AI Vertical remotely. This role sits at the intersection of machine learning, software engineering, and product development. You will help bring modern AI systems into production at scale—moving beyond isolated model optimization to building agentic systems, intelligent automation, and LLM-powered product experiences across our entire platform.

Key Responsibilities

• AI Product Engineering: Build and productionize AI-powered features across eCommerce, marketing, analytics, and customer workflow domains.
• Agentic Systems & LLMs: Design and implement agentic AI architectures, RAG frameworks, and LLM-powered product workflows.
• End-to-End ML Lifecycle: Develop, train, evaluate, deploy, and monitor machine learning models into live production environments.
• API & Inference Services: Design scalable APIs, backend inference services, and improve internal ML infrastructure and tooling.
• Rapid Prototyping: Prototype ideas quickly, validate hypotheses through A/B testing frameworks, and iterate based on real-world business impact.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work directly with backend engineers, DevOps, product managers, and analytics teams to bring complex AI systems to life.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 5+ years of production engineering experience in Machine Learning, AI Engineering, or Backend Engineering (We are open to strong backend engineers actively transitioning to AI).
• Strong hands-on programming expertise in Python and SQL.
• Direct experience building and orchestrating LLMs, RAG systems, or AI agents using frameworks such as LangGraph or PydanticAI.
• Deep understanding of ML/AI system design, MLOps concepts, CI/CD pipelines, production reliability, and logging/monitoring practices.
• Experience designing backend services, robust APIs, and data processing workflows.
• Location Context: 100% remote working infrastructure open to qualified international professionals globally (B2B Contract).

Preferred Strategic Indicators (Nice to Have)

• Experience building recommendation engines, personalization models, or marketing automation algorithms for eCommerce platforms.
• Familiarity with the modern data stack (Airflow, Trino, Grafana, Prometheus).
