About the Role

Dremio's GTM engine is entering its next phase. The foundational systems exist (Marketo, analytics infrastructure, lifecycle programs) but the opportunity in front of us is to make them dramatically smarter, faster, and more autonomous.

As Marketing Operations Manager - AI & Automation, you will own the marketing operations stack end-to-end: email programs, automation workflows, marketing analytics, and most critically, the design and deployment of AI agents that automate repetitive marketing tasks using our agent development platform. Think of this as a product management role for digital selling and the marketing infrastructure that supports it. Your "product" is the system that makes every marketer at Dremio 10x more productive.

You're the person who sees a manual, three-step process and immediately asks: "Why isn't an agent doing this?" You prototype fast, measure everything, and have an opinion on what the data is telling you, not just what it says.

This role reports to the Chief Marketing Officer and partners closely with demand gen, product marketing, developer relations, and sales operations.

What You'll Be Doing

Marketing Operations & Email

Own the Marketo instance, email lifecycle programs, lead scoring, and data hygiene. You'll design and optimize the workflows that move prospects from first touch to qualified pipeline — and you'll treat every workflow as a candidate for automation.

Marketing Analytics

Build and maintain the reporting infrastructure that tells marketing what's working and what isn't. This means helping to drive self service via AI across the team and ensuring we get all of the data we need into our data lake.

AI Agent Building & Automation

Design, build, and deploy AI-powered workflows using agents and our n8n platform, eliminate manual marketing tasks. Examples include automated lead enrichment and routing, email creation, and lead scoring agents. You'll identify the highest-leverage automation opportunities, prototype solutions, and scale the ones that work.

Cross-Functional Systems Thinking

Partner with sales ops and out BDR lead on lead handoff, lead quality, and data integrity. You're the connective tissue that makes the marketing machine run.

What We're Looking For

  • 5+ years of experience in marketing operations, growth operations, or a hybrid ops/analytics role, ideally in B2B SaaS or a technical product environment
  • Deep hands-on experience with Marketo (or comparable marketing automation platform), including campaign builds, lead scoring, nurture programs, and data management
  • Strong analytical foundation — you understand how to work with and analyst data
  • Demonstrated experience building automations or AI-powered workflows (n8n, Zapier, Make, or similar); n8n experience is a strong plus
  • A product-management mindset applied to marketing systems. You think in terms of user experience, prioritization, and iterative improvement
  • Financial or strategic thinking skills. You understand unit economics, can model scenarios, and tie marketing activity to business outcomes
  • Bias for action with intellectual curiosity. You ship fast, learn from the data, and iterate
  • Strong written and verbal communication. You can explain a technical system to a non-technical stakeholder clearly
  • Comfort with ambiguity and a fast-moving environment; startup or high-growth experience preferred

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Dremio, Iceberg, or the modern data lakehouse ecosystem
  • Familiarity with LLMs, prompt engineering, or AI agent frameworks
  • Background in finance, strategy, or product management before moving into marketing ops
  • Experience with dbt, Python, or data engineering concepts

Safety First

  • Never pay for a job application.
  • Do not share sensitive bank info.
  • Verify the client before starting work.
