About The Role
We’re looking for a progressive head of recruiting to lead and evolve our recruiting function. This role oversees a team of recruiters and will own the strategy, systems, and execution of hiring across the company.
We are looking for someone who is excited to design world-class interviewing infrastructure, elevate hiring quality, modernize recruiting operations, and embed AI deeply into how we attract and assess talent. You’ll balance hands-on leadership with systems thinking, ensuring our recruiting engine is thoughtful, data-driven, and AI-enabled.
This fully remote role reports to the VP, People, and is open to candidates located anywhere in the continental US.
What you will do at Jasper
- Lead and develop a team of recruiters across functions, setting clear performance expectations, hiring goals, and quality standards
- Build team capabilities in structured interviewing and AI-enabled workflows
- Design and improve scalable recruiting systems and processes
- Elevate structured interviewing practices and assessment quality
- Build and relaunch interview training programs across the company
- Optimize our ATS (Ashby) and reporting to drive clarity and accountability
- Define and track recruiting KPIs tied to quality, speed, and experience
- Identify and implement AI tools to enhance sourcing, screening, scheduling, and interview prep
- Serve as a strategic partner to senior leaders, ensuring thoughtful, high-quality hiring across teams
- Own critical leadership or complex searches as needed
What you will bring to Jasper
- 7+ years in recruiting, with 3+ years experience leading a recruiting team
- Experience building recruiting infrastructure in a scaling company
- Strong recruiting operations mindset - you think in systems, not just reqs
- Proven experience implementing structured interviewing and interviewer training
- Deep familiarity with modern ATS platforms (Ashby experience a plus)
- Strong data fluency and comfortable using metrics to guide decisions
- Demonstrated curiosity and comfort using AI tools in workflows
- Excitement about building AI-native recruiting systems
- Strong stakeholder management skills and executive presence
Compensation Range
The expected base salary range offered for this role is $174,000 - $205,000. Compensation may vary based on relevant experience, skills, competencies, and certifications.
