Position Overview
We are seeking a consultative, business-first Senior Learning Experience Designer to join our core Learning & Development team. In this highly strategic role, you will move far beyond surface-level “order taking” to serve as a trusted instructional advisor to operations directors and senior enterprise leaders. You will take absolute ownership of the full training lifecycle—diagnosing operational skill gaps, running rigorous task analyses, and engineering multi-modality solutions across digital and classroom settings. This role is built for a proactive designer who designs for high-volume operations environments, builds scalable soft-skill architectures, and confidently returns to stakeholders with data-backed proof of performance improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- End-to-End Learning Architecture: Diagnose business requirements and own the full arc of learning development from first stakeholder consultation through final rollout and impact evaluation.
- Multi-Modality Content Development: Build comprehensive, adult-learner-optimized training assets including facilitator guides, participant workbooks, interactive ILT presentations, and multimedia job aids.
- eLearning Systems Engineering: Design and build interactive, high-signal asynchronous training courses utilizing expert-level Articulate Storyline configurations.
- AI-Accelerated Instructional Workflows: Leverage generative AI tools daily to rapidly prototype course outlines, draft detailed storyboards, and generate multimedia learning assets.
- Operations Core Alignment: Partner tightly with operations leaders to map training initiatives directly against enterprise metrics, customer experience targets, and time-to-fill requirements.
- Pilot Facilitation & Mentorship: Lead initial pilot sessions for newly launched learning materials, step in for live training delivery when required, and mentor junior instructional designers to raise team creative standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 5+ years of verified professional history running corporate instructional design, adult education architectures, or learning experience design portfolios.
- Deep conceptual command of adult learning theory, instructional design frameworks, and rapid development models inside fast-paced corporate settings.
- Expert-level development proficiency with modern learning technology tools, specifically including Articulate Storyline and basic audio/video editing suites.
- Proven tracking history designing training paths across diverse skills matrices: operational workflows, leadership development, and individual contributor onboarding.
- A comprehensive professional portfolio demonstrating a complete design story—covering diagnostic analysis, end-to-end delivery, and measurable business performance results.
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Instructional Design, Adult Education, Educational Technology, or equivalent practical experience.
- Location Context: 100% remote-first full-time operational flexibility restricted exclusively to qualified professionals permanently residing within the United States.
- Travel Parameters: Ability to travel across the United States approximately 4–6 times per year for team workshops, stakeholder syncs, or headquarter sessions.
Preferred Strategic Indicators (Nice to Have)
- Prior instructional experience operating natively inside a high-volume financial services, FinTech, or fast-paced customer operations environment.
- Possession of industry credentials such as the **ATD Master Instructional Designer certification or CPTD (Certified Professional in Talent and Development)**.
What We Offer
- Targeted Annual Base Salary Range: $95,000 – $124,250 USD, matched against structural instructional design experience.
- Direct eligibility for additional corporate compensation through our annual incentive and equity ownership programs.
- Profound remote work independence backed by a comprehensive corporate benefits package including a 401(k) match system and flexible paid time off.
- Tailored personal wellness protections featuring a dedicated monthly wellness stipend alongside health, dental, vision, and disability coverage options.
- Generous paid parental leave structures and flexible spending account allocations to support childcare and healthcare costs.
