About Gathern: Gathern is a leading platform looking for a dedicated and highly skilled Senior iOS Engineer to join our remote Technology team. In this role, you will be instrumental in architecting, building, and enhancing high-quality iOS applications, ensuring they meet rigorous technical standards while delivering exceptionally smooth user experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• App Development: Build, enhance, and scale iOS applications while strictly adhering to modern mobile architectural standards and design patterns.
• Code Quality: Write clean, highly maintainable code and conduct thorough peer code reviews to uphold engineering excellence.
• Performance & Security: Ensure long-term application performance, reliability, and security by effectively translating business requirements into robust mobile solutions.
• Testing & QA: Implement comprehensive unit tests to prevent regressions and participate actively in ongoing testing phases.
• UI/UX Implementation: Develop user-centric interfaces, ensuring seamless navigation, fluid animations, and highly responsive user interactions.
• Compliance & Documentation: Ensure compliance with relevant data regulations, document ongoing performance challenges, and provide regular updates to ensure timely issue resolution.
• Team Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with cross-functional colleagues (designers, product managers, backend engineers) to contribute to shared team objectives.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Preferred 4+ years of professional, hands-on iOS development experience.
• Strong command of mobile engineering languages and frameworks (e.g., Swift, Objective-C) and modern Apple ecosystem tools.
• Proven ability to write clean code, implement unit tests, and drive architectural decision-making.
• Solid understanding of mobile UI/UX principles, navigation structures, and performance optimization techniques.
