Senior Full Stack Engineer (Python + Angular)

About the Role: SPD Technology is looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer (Python + Angular) to join the engineering team at PitchBook. You will focus on building and scaling a robust Data Platform that powers data extraction, validation, classification, and AI-driven preprocessing.

What You'll Do

• Take full end-to-end ownership of Data Platform features — from backend logic to UI implementation.
• Develop full-stack functionality ensuring seamless integration between data processing layers and user interfaces.
• Engineer and optimize data scrapers, validators, and classifiers for accuracy and performance.
• Integrate AI and LLM solutions (e.g., GPT-4) into platform features to solve real-world data problems.
• Collaborate cross-functionally as the technical expert for your functional area.

What You Bring

• 6+ years of professional experience in software development, primarily with Python.
• Strong knowledge of System Design, microservices architecture, data structures, and algorithms.
• Hands-on experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, and building RESTful APIs (particularly FastAPI).
• Familiarity with HTML5, CSS3, TypeScript 5, and Angular 18.
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher.
