Position Overview

We are seeking a high-performing Senior DevOps Engineer to lead, automate, and scale our cloud-native payment infrastructure across decentralized environments. In this high-ownership infrastructure track, you will partner directly with our core engineering units to optimize our Google Cloud Platform (GCP) configurations from scratch. This role demands a platform specialist who treats infrastructure-as-code with uncompromised precision, managing production Kubernetes clusters, designing robust GitOps continuous deployment pipelines, and managing high-availability PostgreSQL clusters to preserve absolute transactional visibility.

Key Responsibilities

• Cloud Infrastructure Governance: Take complete ownership of architecting, scaling, and safeguarding our core cloud infrastructure across Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• IaC Automation & Orchestration: Standardize and accelerate operational provisioning frameworks by designing modular infrastructure definitions using Terraform and Terragrunt.
• Kubernetes Cluster Operations: Manage, monitor, and scale production-grade Kubernetes container clusters to isolate microservices and support immutable application loads.
• GitOps & CI/CD Pipeline Design: Construct reliable, automated deployment workflows and continuous integration loops leveraging declarative models via ArgoCD.
• Database Optimization: Maintain, tune, and optimize relational data stores, executing schema maintenance and data replication loops for highly available PostgreSQL systems.
• Full-Stack Observability Architectures: Enhance system metrics logging, tracking, and tracing capabilities by implementing distributed observability tools including Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, and Tempo.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Demonstrated professional tracking history executing inside high-stakes DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or Platform Engineering environments.
• Hands-on production-grade fluency configuring cloud infrastructure services natively inside Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or AWS.
• Proven experience operating containerized workloads within production Kubernetes nodes.
• Deep practical experience writing Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) files and orchestrating continuous delivery suites via Terraform and ArgoCD.
• Proficiency navigating enterprise logging and metric analysis telemetry frameworks (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, or similar stacks).
• Outstanding written and verbal English communication mechanics, optimized for close cross-functional collaboration and clear architectural debates.
• Location Context: 100% remote-first operational infrastructure availability open exclusively to qualified technical operators permanently residing within Poland.
• Contractual Prerequisite: Absolute availability to enter a full-time B2B consulting service contract layer.

Preferred Strategic Indicators (Nice to Have)

• Prior technical background scaling secure, highly compliant core transactional engines within fintech, digital banking, or micro-payment platforms.
