Senior Data Engineer (CET Timezone Required)

Key Responsibilities

• Architecture Design: Design, implement, and maintain scalable data architectures, including data warehouses and data lakes.
• ETL Leadership: Lead the development of robust Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes to ensure seamless data flow between systems.
• Data Modeling: Develop and implement data models to support business requirements and ensure optimal performance.
• Optimization: Identify and address performance bottlenecks within the infrastructure, optimizing queries for efficiency.
• Governance: Implement data governance policies, ensuring compliance with privacy regulations and data security.
• Automation: Implement automation strategies for data processing and monitoring to reduce manual intervention.

Requirements

• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in Data Engineering.
• Location: Must be located in the CET timezone (+/- 3 hours). Applications from other time zones will not be considered.
• Core Skills: Strong proficiency in SQL and Python (or Java).
• Warehousing: Experience with platforms like Amazon Redshift, Google BigQuery, or Snowflake.
• Cloud: Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Big Data Tools: Proficiency in Apache Spark and data modeling concepts.
