Job Description
Fresher Jobs Hub is seeking a talented Senior Content Writer and Creator to join their remote team in South Africa. You will be responsible for developing high-quality, engaging written and digital content that supports brand strategy, while also mentoring junior writers and managing content calendars.
Key Responsibilities
- Content Creation: Develop, write, and edit engaging content for websites, blogs, newsletters, case studies, and marketing campaigns.
- Multimedia Scripts: Create compelling scripts, captions, and narratives for digital platforms, including video and social media.
- SEO Optimization: Optimize all content for SEO to increase online visibility and audience reach.
- Mentorship: Review and edit junior writers’ work, providing guidance and constructive feedback.
- Strategy: Manage content calendars to ensure timely delivery and collaborate with cross-functional teams to align with brand guidelines.
Requirements
- Experience: Minimum 3–5 years of professional experience in content writing, copywriting, or digital content creation.
- Location: This is a 100% remote position based in South Africa.
- Skills: Proficiency in SEO practices, WordPress (or similar CMS), and digital content tools.
- Analytics: Knowledge of analytics tools like Google Analytics or SEMrush to measure content performance.
- Portfolio: Strong portfolio showcasing versatile writing styles (long-form, short-form, creative, and technical).
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or English.
