Senior Back End Engineer

About the Role: Kyra is an enterprise influencer marketing platform working with top brands. We are looking for a Senior Back End Engineer who can operate across the full stack of our infrastructure. You will work on a platform that processes millions of creator data points, runs real-time analytics, and powers AI-driven workflows, owning features from end to end.

What You'll Do

• Build and maintain domain modules in a DDD-style Node.js/TypeScript monorepo (Express, Prisma, Zod).
• Manage deployments across AWS ECS and maintain/improve GitHub Actions CI/CD pipelines.
• Work with BullMQ for background job processing and write services that integrate with TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube APIs.
• Manage database infrastructure including PostgreSQL (RDS Aurora), ClickHouse, and Redis.
• Review PRs, document API contracts, investigate production issues, and maintain deployment processes.

What You Bring

• 4+ years of backend development experience with Node.js and TypeScript in production.
• Strong experience with PostgreSQL (schema design, query optimization, migrations).
• Hands-on AWS experience (ECS, RDS, S3, Lambda) and proficiency with Docker and CI/CD (GitHub Actions).
• Experience with queue systems (BullMQ, SQS) and REST API design.
• Bonus: Experience with ClickHouse, Redis, Cloudflare, DDD, and AI/LLM integrations (OpenAI, Claude).
