Senior Associate, Strategic Finance

About the Role: Zócalo Health is a tech-enabled, community-oriented primary care organization. We are hiring a Senior Associate of Strategic Finance to partner closely with executive leadership to drive financial planning, operational rigor, and strategic decision-making across the company.

What You'll Do

• Manage and continuously improve the month-end close and forecasting process.
• Maintain and evolve the Company's operating model across revenue, expenses, headcount, and cash.
• Lead financial budget vs. actual performance reviews with executive team members.
• Develop scenario models and executive-ready reporting analysis tracking the Company's most important KPIs.
• Partner with the executive team to evaluate new products, partnerships, and growth initiatives.

What You Bring

• 5+ years of professional experience, including 3+ years in investment banking, VC/PE, or consulting.
• 2+ years in a healthcare startup focused on FP&A or Strategic Finance.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance with advanced proficiency in Excel.
• Ownership mindset with a focus on building, improving, and scaling systems and processes.
