Senior Android Engineer, Global Contractor

About the Role: We are Jump, a fast-growing, well-funded startup ($80 million Series B) looking for an engineer to help build awesome mobile apps. You will use Kotlin and Jetpack Compose to build and architect features for a highly engaged customer base.

What You'll Do

• Build new Android app features and bring parity between platforms.
• Design, plan, and build great mobile architectures that map well across platforms.
• Implement cross-platform code for business logic and write tests for features.
• Help with Tier II support and work with product/engineering to brainstorm solutions and reduce customer issues.

What You Bring

• 2-3 years of experience building Jetpack Compose apps.
• An understanding of the fundamental similarities and differences between Jetpack Compose and SwiftUI.
• A proactive, adaptable mindset with a drive to figure things out quickly.
• Bonus: Past experience or willingness to learn server-side programming (Elixir, Phoenix Framework, GraphQL) and Microsoft Intune integrations.
